Hello, happy Sunday night friends!
In-vitro meat, meat grown in lab petri dishes rather than from livestock, is happening and we want to talk about what this means. Would you eat it? Come to the general meeting TOMORROW, MONDAY DECEMBER 5 @ 6:30 PM in KIMMEL 903 where we will be talking about alternative food production methods such as in vitro meat and hydroponics (growing crops without soil!), and the pros and cons of these technologies. Whether “Burgers From a Lab” make your mouth water or have your stomach turning, check this NPR story out during your next well deserved study break: http://www.npr.org/2011/05/18/136402034/burgers-from-a-lab-the-world-of-in-vitro-meat
Can’t wait to see everybody there, don’t forget the key to surviving impending finals is friends and there will be no shortage of those in 903 tomorrow!
